Responsibilities:
- Civil / Building / Infrastructure Construction)
- 1. Measurement & Quantity Take-Off (Basic Level)
- Assist in taking off quantities from drawings
- Learn basic measurement methods for:
- Concrete, rebar, formwork
- Earthworks, drainage, roadworks (if infra)
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) under supervision
- 2. Costing & Estimation Support
- Assist in preparing cost estimates
- Help update cost comparison and pricing sheets
- Learn basic rate build-ups and cost analysis
- 3. Tender & Quotation Assistance
- Assist in preparing tender documents
- Help request and compile quotations from suppliers / subcontractors
- Assist in tabulating and comparing quotes
- 4. Progress Claim & Payment Support
- Assist in measuring work done on site
- Support preparation of progress claims (under supervision)
- Help organise supporting documents for claims
- 5. Variation Order (VO) Support
- Assist in measurement and documentation for variations
- Learn how VO quantities and rates are prepared
- Help compile VO submission files
- 6. Contract & Documentation Exposure
- Assist in filing contracts, agreements, and cost records
- Learn basic contract terms and commercial procedures
- Support documentation for final accounts (basic exposure)
- 7. Site & Team Coordination
- Attend site visits with QS / Engineer
- Assist in site measurements and verification
- Coordinate with site team for quantity confirmation
- 8. General Admin & Learning Tasks
- Maintain proper filing (softcopy & hardcopy)
- Update Excel sheets and QS records
- Learn QS workflow and reporting structure
Requirements:
- Punctuality
- Intergrity
- ❌ Finalise claims or sign off documents
- ❌ Commit prices or approve payments
- ❌ Negotiate contracts independently
- ❌ Handle commercial disputes
- Willing to travel to site for evaluation & project claim submission
- All resignation should be formally emailed and noticed at least 7 days notice period during probation.
- All leaves should be filled into google forms and get approved by superior
Benefits:
